Seven Psychopaths (2012): Brief Review

Seven Psychopaths directed by Martin McDonagh (2012), is a film about a writer who unknowingly has a friend who is less inhibited than most and then knowingly seeks out others who are not that much different than his friend. Everything in this film is fairly well done. The story even mixes itself with real life events to “explain” what else had happened. Which is interesting in itself. Then another layer is added with the stories that are presented to us as the audience. All was crafted really well. An enjoyable film overall. The only thing I can think of that it may have needed more was emotional tension which could have been achieved but just missed the mark.
