Judas and the Black Messiah directed by Shaka King (2021), is a film about the betrayal of the Black Panther Party and the assassination of Fred Hampton. It’s definitely an insightful film about what had happened and the lead up to the death of Fred Hampton. I have not investigated any further into the history of the party or anything else to do with the matter. However, the film looked great, the story was highly engaging, and the acting was fantastic. If you haven’t watched this film, go watch it. I will probably watch it again some time in the future for sure.
