Downfalls High directed by Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun (2021), is a music based film about the story of a boy through his romance with a girl from his school. It felt rushed in spots but was fairly enjoyable. All of the music was ok. Nothing that I would go back to but not outright horrible. The story itself was super basic but fun. The acting overall could have been better but it wasn’t too bad. I guess that’s the whole thing about this film. It was ok. It was trying to be edgy but really wasn’t. Just seemed like an over dramatic story that a high schooler would make a film about and if that was his intention then he nailed it. So, not groundbreaking but enjoyable to see once.
