I Feel Pretty: Brief Review

I Feel Pretty, directed by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein (2018), is a film about how a young woman with head trauma gains a high level of confidence and the result of it is that she is able to get everything she believes she wants in life. This film is a thought experiment if one day you had all the confidence that you wished you had. However, the greatest thing was when she had all of her insecurities back while still remembering what it felt like to have all the confidence that she had. While watching it, it felt empowering. Upon reflection, it’s just a tad pushed in. Overall, it was fine for the most part. Had a few giggles and was a bit inspired but I’m not sure the feeling will stick.
